Zantedeschia aeth. ‘Crowborough’ (Arum Lily)
Dark green leaves and immaculate white flowers to 3ft or more. Just as happy in damp shade as dry sun. Good in a pot too. Dies down in winter unless very mild. Please contact us for other stock availability and sizes.
Hardiness level Green
Large creamy white flowers on lush green foliage to 3ft tall. They're fine in damp shade, but will tolerate dry conditions. In the shade the leaves will be dark green, the sun tends to bleach them. In the winter the foliage will die down to re-appear around April. In all but the mildest gardens, mulch over the crown to help protect it. It's always odd to see these in mid-winter in central London. They remain completely evergreen. Rather galling to realise it's considerably warmer in London outside than in Pulborough in our not-so-cosy greenhouse.
Large over wintered crowns can be divided by lifting before there is too much top growth, and chopping the roots into smaller pieces with a spade.
Propagated by us by division.
