Wisteria floribunda ‘Alba’ (White Wisteria)
From 72.50 incl. VAT
Vigorous deciduous climber famed and celebrated for embellishing stylish edifices around the world. This one has large pendulous white flowers.

Hardiness level Green
Wisteria floribunda Alba. Quite the vigorous grower, you won’t have to wait long till the cascading clusters of blooms fill your garden with colour and fragrance, too. You’ll see its potential as spring begins (in my garden it’s the first thing to start looking interesting) and by early summer you’ll be basking in all its glory. Rampant in a sort of looks after itself kind of way, which means you can treat it robustly if it starts bothering the neighbours.
N.B. When clipping several plants with the same tool, have a bucket containing a 5% bleach solution and swish your blades around for 30 seconds between plants to sterilise them. This will help avoid the chance of cross contamination of disease.
As with all woody plants, plant high, exposing as much of the taper at the base of the trunk as possible. Allowing soil to accumulate round the base of a tree can be fatal. Keep very well watered when first planted.
