It's quite difficult to identify many of these Red Hot Pokers but not this one. The leaves are distinctly blue (glaucous) with a V cross section, it forms a nice little trunk and the flower is stubby - not tall but nice and stocky. Yellow and red. Cleaning up Kniphofias is often a bit of a challenge but this one just needs the old brown leaves removed to form the trunk.
They like masses of light, reasonably well drained soil and moisture deep down.
Propagated by micropropagation.
