Known variously as Tommy Totters, Dithery Dock or Toddling Grass the flowers and seeds of this semi-evergreen, short-lived perennial grass quiver and shake on fine wiry stems about the neat grey-green foliage. It grows to between 50cms and 100cms in height.
Position: Best grown in full sun out of the cold winds, in any moist but well drained soil. Comb out dead growth in the spring and cut back as needed.
