Bags by Fiona Parrott

Beautiful large canvas tote bags made by Sussex woodcut artist Fiona Parrott. Fiona's woodcut prints explore the colours, textures and sculptural qualities of plants by carving her portraits into wooden blocks. She then prints them by hand on an 1844 Columbian press. To create colour and texture, Fiona uses several techniques: she roll colour blends using a large roller: employs handpainting: and layers colour using the process of reduction.
