Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster'

The best upright grass forming a stiff clump. Tall flower heads that start of pale green in summer turning yellow and then russet brown, remaining through the winter.

Position in full sun to light shade. Will tolerate most soils as long as it is not water logged.
