Trachycarpus fortunei
Well known evergreen exotic. Much versatility making it an excellent choice for event hire. Its large, glossy, palmate leaves bring a lush, tropical feel to any space, creating a striking visual impact with its bold and dramatic presence. Its hardy nature and ease of care ensure it remains stunning throughout your event, providing a lively and captivating backdrop that leaves a lasting impression on your guests.
Fatsia japonica
Well known evergreen exotic. Likes shade.
Chamaerops humilis (Dwarf Fan Palm)
Chamaerops make an excellent hire plant for events, the height to which they grow (trunk-less to trunks 20ft tall), the colour of the leaves (very green to quite glaucous) and the fine-ness of the leaf (soft, delicate and flexible to quite stiff and course). Grown well, these exhibit a rare verdancy, luxuriance and exoticness, a great plant addition to any event.
Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise)
Slow growing exotic that does well in a pot indoors. Exotic leaves and insane flower spikes, a very impressive plant. Great for a warm marquee in the summer. Water it sparingly in the winter months and make sure it is ventilated. In our opinion, also a very useful structural, upright plant.
Howea forsteriana (Kentia palm)
The classic Parlour Palm of old. One of the easiest indoor palms, exotic, graceful and tolerant of shade. Its elegance and tolerance have made it a favourite as an indoor plant and therefore perfect as an event hire plant. Also because it’s fairly upright so doesn’t get too much in the way.
