Ilex crenata (Japanese Holly)Niwaki

A compact evergreen. The plants of this selected form are uniform and therefore perfect for topiary. Small white flowers in early summer and black berries on female plants.

Perhaps your tastes run to the formal and the restrained when it comes to topiary, or perhaps they run madly away from you towards Jacobean whimsy. Maybe, like a well-clipped lollipop, they float somewhere in the middle. We don’t have angular bears but we do stock and maintain this shrub in blobs, balls, elevated pompoms or sharp-sided all sorts. We also love these as Niwaki, there’s no limits on imagination here so speak to our team about your plans and we’ll take care of you.

Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise)

Slow growing exotic that does well in a pot indoors. Just as well as it’s the only place it’ll survive in Britain. Banana leaves and insane flower spikes, a very impressive plant if you want to add drama and impact. Great for a warm marquee in the summer. Water it sparingly in the winter months and make sure it is ventilated.

Olea europea (Olive)

Olives make an excellent hire plant for events, effortlessly creating the essence of warmer, Mediterranean climates in any space. Their silvery-green foliage and distinctive, gnarled trunks add a touch of timeless elegance and natural beauty to any setting.

Perfect for both indoor and outdoor marquees, olives create a serene and inviting atmosphere. Their versatility and low maintenance needs, make them a practical yet stylish choice, ensuring your event exudes a sophisticated and relaxed ambiance.

Fatsia japonica

Well known evergreen exotic. Likes shade. Much versatility making it an excellent choice for plant hire for events. Its large, glossy, palmate leaves bring a lush, tropical feel to any space, creating a striking visual impact with its bold and dramatic presence. It’s hardy nature and ease of care ensure it remains stunning throughout your event, providing a lively and captivating backdrop that leaves a lasting impression on your guests.

Betula (Birch)

Birch multi-stems are an exceptional choice for event hire, bringing an enchanting and charismatic touch to any occasion. Their elegant, slender trunks with distinctive white bark evoke the serene beauty of natural woodlands. Perfect for adding height and structure, these graceful trees can transform any indoor or outdoor venue into a sophisticated and whimsical setting. This makes them a captivating centrepiece.
