Bergenia Bressingham White (Elephant's Ears)
This clump-forming evergreen perennial has oval, glossy, deep green leaves that look good all year. Between mid and late spring it produces pure white flowers. Please contact us for stock availability and sizes.
Hardiness level Green
Nice texture with rather cheerful white-ish flowers. The name would suggest that the flowers are pure white. We find they nearly always have a slightly pink tinge.
Long lived, evergreen, slowly creeping ground cover either in the open or under trees. The leaves redden in the winter and this will be most pronounced on poor soils. Remove flower heads after flowering and any dead leaves. If planted under deciduous trees clear off the leaves in autumn to prevent rotting.
Full sun to partial shade. Height and spread 1ft x 1ft.
Propagated by micropropagation
