Featured Testimonial

I have worked with Architectural Plants for a number of years and they are without a doubt one of my preferred suppliers. Their nursery is constantly developing and is impressive to visit. They are happy to help either in person, on email or on the phone, and their response time is efficient and speedy. My clients are well looked after and thoroughly enjoy their time wandering amongst the amazing stock. Architectural Plants is in the top league when it comes to product, service and friendliness. Scope or quantity has never been an issue and their customer service is impeccable”.

PAULTON’S PARK, HAMPSHIRE

At Architectural Plants, we place tremendous value on the creative maintenance of plants to keep them looking their best. In October, we were delighted to spend the day sharing our knowledge with the maintenance team at Paulton’s Park in Hampshire.

Our Managing Director, Guy Watts, gave them a course in creative maintenance, showing them how to strip trachycarpus and raise bamboo.

The day was a great success. Everyone learnt a lot, and it was great for us to see the whole park at closer range.

BUSHY BUSINESS GARDENS, SURREY

In October, we were approached by Chris Stone, Managing Director of Bushy Business Gardens, after he heard Guy speak at the Landscape Show in Battersea.

Chris was interested in organising a Creative Maintenance course for his maintenance team and, later that month, Angus went to their site in Surrey to share some of his tricks. Their testimonial speaks for us:

‘We really enjoyed listening to Guy’s vision for Architectural Plants, and what he had to say really resonated with us. The Creative Maintenance course was a brilliantday of slicing, stripping, clipping, snipping, chopping and lopping – not to mention the use of blow torches.

‘However, the real bonus was talking to Angus – a mine of information, with great stories about the early days of the nursery. It was the most enjoyable day any of us have spent in a long time – with really passionate people – that has left us all looking at the shrubs and trees we deal with in a new light.’
