Ilex crenata (Japanese Holly)

A compact evergreen. The plants of this selected form are uniform and therefore perfect for topiary. Small white flowers in early summer and black berries on female plants.

Any form of Niwaki are useful to add shape and structure to a marquee. There are many options of differing heights and widths. Ilex crenata is often used as it has good evergreen foliage for plant hire and they can be clipped very tightly. We have many other options available such as Phillyrea latifolia, Myrtus apiculata etc. Although it is quite a formal plant, we like to dress them with other softer foliage plants, to create a fusion of styles.

Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise)

Slow growing exotic that does well in a pot indoors. Exotic leaves and insane flower spikes, a very impressive plant. Great for a warm marquee in the summer. Water it sparingly in the winter months and make sure it is ventilated. In our opinion, also a very useful structural, upright plant.

Olea europea (Olive)

Olives make an excellent hire plant for events, effortlessly infusing your space with the essence of warmer, Mediterranean climates. Their silvery-green foliage and distinctive, gnarled trunks add a touch of timeless elegance and natural beauty to any setting.

Well known evergreen exotic. Likes shade. Much versatility making it an excellent choice for event hire.
