The testimonial below, lengthy as it is, highlights the quality of Sarah's work, and also gives you an idea of what to expect from the design process.
'It was only through chance that we bumped into Architectural Plants' designer, Sarah, during our visit to the nursery. We were not previously aware that Architectural Plants provided a garden design service.
'We half-heartedly described our thoughts with Sarah, but within minutes were swept up in her passion for her work and enthusiasm for the project. The longer we spoke to her, the greater our excitement grew.
'After an initial visit to our garden to take photographs and to better understand our (very vague!) ideas of how we wanted the garden to look, Sarah spent a couple of weeks coming up with her design before arranging for us to visit the nursery again to run through her concept. At all times during this process we were treated like VIPs, and the nursery visit culminated in Sarah walking us through the nursery identifying the plants that she had included in our design. At that point we selected and tagged the individual specimens to be planted in our garden.
'The planting day itself was a huge thrill. Sarah was on site to organise where each plant should be positioned and the planting team worked tirelessly to capture Sarah's vision. Once the planting had been finished and the bark mulch spread throughout the beds, we were left with a garden that literally took our breath away.
'The final result was way beyond anything we could have imagined. Whereas initially our garden space consisted of two or three disparate areas looking out onto a featureless lawn, we now have a garden that flows naturally and effortlessly as a whole. It is no longer an area of functional drabness, but one of delight and curiosity.' - Dee & Malcolm Blick, July 2018
